Key Clauses of the 14th Amendment

Four principles were asserted in the text of the 14th amendment. They were:
  1. State and federal citizenship for all persons regardless of race both born or naturalized in the United States was reaffirmed.
  2. No state would be allowed to abridge the "privileges and immunities" of citizens.
  3. No person was allowed to be deprived of life, liberty,or property without "due process of law."

  • Create a 6 panel Comic Strip that breaks down the Civil War and Reconstruction events into 6 parts
  • Must have a Title, Caption & a Picture.
    • Pictures should not take lots of time....quality of pictures are not taken into account of completion
    • No Stick people....bubble people ok.

    • All learning activities must be completed and turned in with homework
      • Failure to do so will result in a 0/10 for the homework until the learning activities are completed
    • Plagerism or regurgitation = permanent 0/10
