- Differentiated between suffrage and suffering
- Learning A: on your own piece of paper, create a "T" Chart
- On the left hand side, watch this National History Day video about the women's suffrage movement & jot down every name, event and law that you can. Pause & rewind to help.
- With partners, we scanned pages 529-534 in the textbook & filled out the other side of the T chart with names, events & laws that were discussed
- Comparison: Watched the video one more time, this time really focusing on the narrative of the video in comparison to the narrative of the text.
- Remember, an author uses the following tools to present a narrative:
- Content (or lack of particular content)
- Descriptive Words
- Pictures
- Music (in videos only)
